The set up for this book follows the prior book in the series. Tamara, who goes by "Bent" is the daughter of a witch and a werewolf. The two families hate each other, and hybrids are feared and despised (and killed young). So Bent's family have been hiding her heritage and claiming she was adopted. In the last book she was outed with Dad's family, and that went poorly. In this book she is outed to Mom's family, and it is the disaster one might expect. My main complaint with the book is that the fighting starts at about 40% and never really goes away. From that point on it is fight and run, fall back and reorganize, then fight some more. There is dialog, and surprising new information does come to light in the latter half of the book, but the constant battles are a bit tedious.I did enjoy some of the interactions between characters. Tammy's loving relationship with her (adopted) younger brother is funny but not heart warming. Cass was an enjoyable character. I found the book enjoyable but not compelling. I may pick up the next one.

Great story , convoluted plot, the characters are maturing and it’s great to watch them grow. Looking forward to next book in the series! Highly recommended

Well written and edited. Good fast paced action. Looking forward to next in series. But what happened to Rival ? Do not write her out of series.

Another great book in the Bent series. I can't wait to see the next release of this series. I hope it's sooooon.

Rick is a great writer that makes you feel like your part of their world. What I don't like...that's easy.....the end!

Great story kept me reading with all my interest. A good book that is worth reading. Very interesting.. A must read story

Loved it and ready for book 3

Non-stop action, witty, irreverent dialogue, characters to care about. Just as fast paced and exciting as its predecessor. My only complaint, write faster. I need the next one NOW.
