I am a first timer about playing the game “Go”. I am so glad, Tom Sparks made his book full of pictures to demonstrate the game exactly. He explained the history of the game, its equipment and on how to get started in the game. I have learned easily, not only to play this game basing on the rules to follow but also the various advanced techniques on how to win by connecting and cutting in the game. I found it fun to spend time and exciting to play this game with my kids. Love it.

I had heard of the game GO but had always thought it would be too difficult to learn. However, after reading this book, I now have a good knowledge of how the game is played. The author writes it in a way that is easy to understand, yet informational enough to be very useful. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to acquire the knowledge.
